That is not a cacodaemon but plaque build-up. A very common mistake but against cacodaemon you must use the BFG and against plaque you must use a veterinarian (just his skills, not in a 'human sacrifice' sort of way).
Did Scampers just break out of the pet cemetary?
I think I dated Yrrgt.
